Only apply our tapes to clean rods. You can clean rods with acetone. Ok to apply our tapes over other SMOOTH flat rod tapes. Do not apply over bumpy or textured surfaces, no matter how tiny. Your tapes will not last on your rod with our manipulation routines.
Comp rods should be kept for comps. If tape begins to peel because you are practicing with your decorated rods frequently before your comp, you need to seal the tape edges with clear sticky tape, after all... you wouldn't wear your costumes for every practice...sequins would pop & rips may occur!
